UDAN Scheme 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA Government has Launched a New Scheme for Cheap Travel in Flight with the Motive of Udey Desh ka Aam Nagarik. Under UDAN Scheme People in tire 2 and tier 3 Cities can fly at just Rs 2500/- per hour. one Hour Of Light can cover about 500 Km.
Under the UDAN scheme, Airline Operators Provides a Minimum of 9 and Maximum of 40 UDAN Seats in Each Flight to Domestic Region. and in case of flight through the helicopter, a Minimum of 5 and Maximum of 13 UDAN Seats are Provided by the Operator. Under UDAN Scheme 50% of the seat are capped at Rs. 2500/- While the rest of the Seats are sold on the basis of Current Market Price.

- The company which ask for Lowest Subsidy is Awarded the Contract.
- The airline has to book half or a minimum of 9 or a maximum of 40 seats.
- Presently the fare for travelling by taxi is Rs 10 per km but under this scheme, the fare for 500 km air travel has been fixed at Rs 2500 only.
